Donald Correll, CEO

Don is a seasoned, water industry executive with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of water utility investment and management. Don is the former CEO of United Water, Pennichuck Water and American Water. Don has been a frequent speaker and guest on Fox Business, CNN, Bloomberg, CNBC and others. He currently serves as a director on a number of corporate boards including Health South Corporation, New Jersey Resources and the US Chamber of Commerce. He holds an BS from Penn State and an MBA from New York University.

 

John Joyner, Managing Partner

John brings over 30 years of experience developing, negotiating, and managing public-private partnerships for water, solid waste and transportation infrastructure projects. He offers the unique combined perspective of a former public official, consulting advisor and utility executive. John is a former city manager, Chief Marketing Officer of United Water, Vice President of Covanta Energy and President of Infrastructure Management Group, Inc. where he advised Fortune 100 companies, leading US Cities, equity funds and infrastructure operators. He holds a BS from Rutgers University and an MS from the University of Massachusetts.

 

Daniel Sugarman, Managing Director

Dan brings over 30 years of experience in the environmental services sector and has spent the last 20 years negotiating, developing, and analyzing projects for regulated utility and public-private partnership opportunities in the water and wastewater sector. Dan has hands-on experience in water utility engineering, operations, finance, and business development. Prior to joining KWP Capital, Dan was Vice President of Marketing & Strategy for United Water and led the company's efforts to close a P3 transaction in the City of Bayonne, New Jersey with KKR as a private equity partner. Dan has also served as United Water's representative on a Steering Committee for the R+i Alliance, an entity that Suez Environnement (United Water's parent company) established to pool resources across its water subsidiaries to conduct research. Dan holds a BS in Biology and BSME (Mechanical Engineering) from Tufts University and an MBA from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business.
